A Nightmare on Water Street

This Halloween Eve, we’re putting off a SCARY READING CONTEST and a COSTUME CONTEST. That means you’ve got double the chances to win some sweet prizes!

DETAILS ABOUT THE READING CONTEST:

Read your scariest writing for a chance to win one of three prize packs! Think: horror, ghost stories, thrillers, etc. First, second, and third place winners will be chosen by audience ballot.
Contestants are welcome to read original material of any genre (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, monologue, etc.). Material may be previously published or unpublished. Excerpts or full pieces accepted. Readings may be 5-10 minutes long. Contestants of the Reading Contest should be WANL members (you may become a member before signing up).

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! ONE SPACE STILL AVAILABLE! Sign up for the Reading Contest by emailing membership@wanl.ca with your name, a brief description of the piece you plan to read, and approximately how long your reading will be.
