Dianna has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Calgary, and is currently a student at St. Mary’s University in Calgary to obtain her Bachelor of Education degree. She has also completed an Intensive Style and Grammar clinic offered through the University of Calgary, and has taken Advanced Fiction Writing courses through the University of Athabasca. She was born in Gander, and raised in Kelligrews, Newfoundland. She currently resides in Calgary with her husband and two sons. Saltwater Joys is her first novel. She is working on the sequel of Saltwater Joys as well as a non-fiction book to help families who have a child with cancer, in hopes of sharing her family’s experience to inspire and help others. A portion of profits will be donated to childhood cancer research.
