Gord Follett

Gord Follett has 42 years of experience in the local media business and is best known for his work with The Newfoundland Sportsman, where he has been editor of the fishing and hunting magazine for more than 30 years.
He has also been involved in various sports throughout his lifetime, including hockey, track and field, soccer, softball and amateur wrestling. His most notable accomplishment was claiming a bronze medal for Newfoundland and Labrador in the 10-km race walking event during the 1977 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s.
Gord is currently in the process of writing his first book, with the release of his memoir, through Engen Books, expected early this summer.
He currently resides in Mount Pearl with his wife Dianne.
