Joannie Smith Coffin

Joannie Smith Coffin lives in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, with her Husband Garry.
A mother, grandmother and retired health care professional, she continues to be an active volunteer in her community and an advocate for social justice issues. An avid reader and occasional contributor to professional and social newsletters, Joannie discovered many years ago the value of sharing a message through storytelling.
Her first published book (Boulder Pub.) “The Best Christmas Ever” was co-written with Son Brent, a professional Artist who was also Illustrator for the book. It is Joannie’s wish that Princess Amari’s story will show readers how hope, goodwill and imagination can bring joy, even under the most difficult of circumstances.
All of Joannie’s royalties are donated between the Bay St. George Sick Children’s Foundation and the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
