An experienced CBC radio broadcaster and award-winning writer, Marjorie has been a columnist with The Globe and Mail and has published widely across Canada in newspapers and literary magazines. Two of her pieces have been anthologized in high school textbooks. In Winter 2009, she was Haig-Brown Writer-in-Residence on Vancouver Island. She has read widely across Canada including at Writers at Woody Point, Words on the Water (Vancouver Island), SPARKS, and the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. Marjorie is Chair of The Writers’ Union of Canada (2017-18).
