A self-proclaimed academic-turned-advertiser, Theresa hold an M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) from Memorial University where she studied English and Communication Studies, concentrating on media and colonial/postcolonial literature. She has several years’ experience working as a writer at Atlantic Canadian advertising agencies, focusing on concept development, creative writing, social campaigns, SEO and web content, and marketing research. Over the years, she has written for a wide variety of clients, from small businesses and not-for-profits to international corporations, helping them achieve their marketing goals.
Theresa has been awarded many scholarships and awards, has been featured in international publications, and has presented her work on literature and marketing at conferences and workshops across Canada.
When she’s not writing, Theresa can be found cooking and travelling. She is currently a Copywriter at Memorial University’s Division of Marketing and Communications.
