A self-proclaimed enthusiast (point blank), Theresa earned her M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Throughout her career, her academic interests have included communication, book history, Renaissance studies, and postcolonial literature. She has bridged the gap between the academic and the professional by earning many years’experience in advertising, communications, social media, and research.
Theresa has been awarded several scholarships and awards, and she has presented her work on Renaissance literature, book history, and marketing at conferences and workshops across Canada. Notably, her research in indigenous literature and culturally-responsive teaching was featured as part of the anthology, Challenging Stories: Canadian Literature for Social Justice in the Classroom (2017), published by Canadian Scholars’ Press.
Theresa is an avid cook and traveler and is currently a Senior Copywriter at m5 MarketingCommunications.
