“The Write Gift” for a Special Someone
If you’d like to support the goals of a writer near and dear to you, we are happy to help you deliver an extra special gift this holiday season!
WANL Memberships can be purchased for brand new members by contacting our Member Services Coordinator Wendy Rose at email@example.com.
Please be sure to include the name and email address of the person you would like to purchase a membership for, as well as the membership tier you’d like to purchase (listed above).
WANL will process the payment, send you a receipt, and contact the individual with a note to inform them of their Write Gift, with a link to our membership form.
After we receive the completed membership form, the new member will be added to WANL’s membership base, subscribed to WANL’s communications, and eligible to participate in all of WANL’s programs, services, contests, committees, and much more!
History of The Write Gift:
In 2017, WANL launched a membership donation drive called The Write Gift which encouraged the public to give the gift of writing this holiday season by donating one-year WANL memberships to individuals from marginalized communities. The Write Gift is about creating opportunities. It aims to break down barriers (financial and otherwise) that might prevent individuals from exploring the craft of writing and getting involved in the provincial literary community.
Donations gathered for The Write Gift have been previously gifted to the St. John’s Women’s Centre, Thrive: Community Youth Network St. John’s, and more.
